I’ll let Jane tell you about it, too: ✨Some of the reasons I heard for not coming to our retreat last year were: “I wanted to come but I don’t think my yoga was good enough.”; “I wanted to come but I didn’t know anyone.” and “I wanted to come but saw yoga was twice daily, and thought that was too much.” Like a yoga class, a retreat is a very individual quest. You can commit yourself to practice, and whatever you practice, improves. You can start out with doubts, or fears, and find yourself fully immersed. Don’t worry! Some yoga experience is required, but all levels will be taught. With over 20 years of teaching beginners, therapeutic yoga and experienced classes, I’m ready for you! Rottnest in winter offers you adventure if you wish, or peace and quiet. Company or solitude. You can swim in the ocean, or ride your bike to the lighthouse, or read your book for hours. You can talk about your book at dinner, or have dinner in your room. You might even become one of those people who talks about yoga to other people who like to talk about yoga. When you wake up in the morning, you come to a traditional Hatha class while the the sun rises up over the ocean, and just before a fantastic dinner, come to class again, breathe, invert, restore, meditate. Last year we had a great retreat. We are not offering to repeat that experience, but we are offering a brand new adventure. ✨ 👉DATES Wednesday June 10, 2026 - Saturday June 13, 2026 Starts around 3pm June 10; Ends around 11am, June 13 👉ACCOMMODATION Staying at Samphire Rottnest is part of the retreat experience itself. You’ll rest in a beautiful king-bed poolside room that feels like a quiet sanctuary after yoga, walks and sea air. With its relaxed coastal style and connection to the natural surrounds, Samphire reflects much of what you already love about our studio - simple and grounding. It’s a place where you can breathe out, soften your shoulders, and feel at ease. Your room includes all the comforts: tea and coffee-making facilities, a locally sourced minibar, Hunter LAB bathroom amenities, individual climate control, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a large HDTV for cosy evenings in. Whether this is your first retreat or a returning ritual, this is a stunning space to feel relaxed.
